Introduction  of dengue fever

Dengue fever is a viral infection. An infected mosquito transmits the disease to humans through its bite. The main vector for this disease is Aedes aegypti and, to a lesser extent, Aedes aegypti. Arbopictus.Dengue virus (DENV) causes dengue fever.

How dengue fever spreads

An infected Aedes aegypti mosquito transmits the Dengue virus to humans (Ae. aegypti or Ae. albopictus). These are the same species of mosquitoes that spread Zika virus and Chikungunya virus. Dengue fever does not spread directly from person to person.  Mosquitoes can infect people with dengue fever. Humans can transmit infections from one country to another or from one region to another.
